Investing In The Future

An estate winery, Tscharke is committed to reducing its environmental footprint by implementing sustainable vineyard and winemaking practices.

Tscharke’s reverse brick-veneer cellar door building, double-glazed doors and windows and convection wood heater all contribute to its natural, holistic approach to grape growing. Its vineyard is also managed with lightweight machinery, which improves flotation and helps preserve the soil.

The estate has also constructed an underground barrel store. This space allows the wines to be naturally cooled and humidified, and the elevage method lengthens the life of its barrels and reduces wine evaporation.

DiGiorgio Family Wines

DiGiorgio Family wines is a family-owned winery located right in the heart of coonawarra. The winery had been known as rouge Homme since the early 1950s, and holds enormous importance within the winescape of australia.

The DiGiorgio family became the proud owners of the second-oldest winery in coonawarra on Friday March 15, 2002. This has provided a wonderful production facility and a centrally located cellar door in coonawarra. The winery blends new and old technology to produce its premium, handcrafted wines.
