DiGiorgio Family Wines

DiGiorgio Family wines is a family-owned winery located right in the heart of coonawarra. The winery had been known as rouge Homme since the early 1950s, and holds enormous importance within the winescape of australia.

The DiGiorgio family became the proud owners of the second-oldest winery in coonawarra on Friday March 15, 2002. This has provided a wonderful production facility and a centrally located cellar door in coonawarra. The winery blends new and old technology to produce its premium, handcrafted wines.

DiGiorgio Family wines has left no stone unturned in its pursuit of excellence in viticulture. Its Lucindale and coonawarra vineyards on the Limestone coast are highly regarded for their production of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, shiraz, chardonnay and pinot noir grapes. The family believes great wine cannot be made from ordinary grapes. The commitment to lower yields and fruit flavours is the secret to the production of its award-winning range of wines.

In addition to producing premium wines from coonawarra and Lucindale, DiGiorgio Family wines sources specific varietal fruit from different areas of the Limestone coast where the terroir is best suited to the variety. These wines make up the renaissance range and are a selection of varieties that are specially chosen to demonstrate the versatility of the region, as well as the passion and ambition of the winemakers.

When visiting the cellar door, you will have the opportunity to taste premium wines from the company’s extensive portfolio, as well as olive oil and local cheese. The winery’s outdoor seating area is the perfect place to relax with your family and friends while enjoying a glass of DiGiorgio Family wines’ award-winning wine and a ‘pick your own produce’ platter.
