Beach Road Wines

As a family-owned winery run by Tony and Briony Hoare, Beach Road Wines offers a range of interesting wine varieties from a couple who simply love producing delicious cuisine for all guests. Established in 2004, Beach Road Wines combines unbelievable views of McLaren Vale with a relaxed and inviting cellar door, in order to create the perfect day out for families.

As well as producing conventional varieties, Beach Road Wines specialises in Italian wine varieties including fiano, greco and aglianico. These wines, historically found in southern Italy, are now finding a home in South Australia with the family’s care and attention to both the vineyard and the winery.

Beach Road Wines has received multiple accolades for its wines, including the International Judges Award for the 2012 Beach Road Wines Aglianico – and the Stewards Award for its 2013 fiano – at the 2014 Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show.

As well as Beach Road Wines’ memorable wines, the team is also renowned for producing indulgent wood-fired pizzas and other tasty dishes from its wood oven restaurant. Paired with a glass of award winning wine, any item off the Beach Road Wines restaurant menu will be the perfect accompaniment to a day out with friends and family.

Tony and Briony have both been involved in the wine industry since the early 1990s, offering a wealth of knowledge and passion for Italian varietals. Working together at Beach Road Wines, Briony is able to combine her love of family and wine consulting, while Tony is responsible for sourcing the best fruit and helping to make the wines.

2013 Beach Road Wines Fiano
