TASTING NOTES

2014 Poonawatta Estate The Eden Riesling

This wine is both powerful and vibrant. There is a real concentration of flavour, with typical floral notes underpinned with sherbet, lemon and lime, hints of wild herb and sage, delicate musk and lemon rind. Deeply flavoured, its finish is long and generous.

2012 Dandelion Vineyard Red Queen Shiraz

This wine has blue fruits, blood plum, ripe blackberries and Christmas pudding-like spice, with spicy pepper and hints of bramble and dark chocolate. Generous mouthfilling sweet blackberry, raspberry and plums cover the palate with lashings of sweet spice. Firm but fine tannins and dark chocolate continue with a youthful finish.
